This All-in-One Machine That Tightens Skin and Grows Hair Just Made Its Official Stateside Debut
In a world of Instagram filters, dermal fillers, and plastic surgery procedures, people are doing whatever they can to turn back time and practically age in reverse. Whether or not this is psychologically sound is an entirely different conversation but the reality is that many of us will go to great lengths to preserve smooth, wrinkle-free skin and a head full of hair.
European-developed REYU has revolutionized the beauty industry with a cutting-edge machine that seems to treat it all: facial rejuvenation, hair loss, sports injuries, and even sexual/urine health. And in a bizarre turn of events, it has made its official stateside debut in my hometown of Naples, Florida at RE-new-YU natural health and beauty spa.
Led by mother-daughter duo, Dr. Greet Baestaens and Sophie Pierce, the treatment is particularly beneficial and appealing for men because it not only tightens skin but also activates hair follicle growth.
I obviously had to jump on the opportunity to test this instrument myself and, as someone who’s essentially been a guinea pig for most beauty trends, I was shocked to find something that delivered on its promise and then some.

What Is the REYU Machine?
As explained by Dr. Baestaens, the REYU device utilizes Closed Loop Electro Modulation (CLEM) technology, a “groundbreaking system that works with the body's natural biofeedback mechanisms to regenerate and optimize cellular functions.”
“CLEM operates by targeting the loops within the body, which are essential for proper communication between organs and central systems,” she adds.
This technology interacts with the body’s holographic network—a system of interconnected nerves, blood vessels, and lymphatic ducts—to stimulate deep tissue healing, restore balance, and enhance overall wellness.
“Unlike traditional therapies, REYU’s CLEM Technology helps the body self-regulate and repair itself in a non-invasive, natural way. It’s widely used for skin rejuvenation, pain relief, muscle recovery, and overall wellness enhancement,” explains Baestaens.
How Many Sessions Does the REYU Machine Require?
The number of treatments will be dependent upon the client’s overall goals, though a total of 12 treatments is recommended for anti-aging while 8-12 treatments is recommended for hair growth. Clients can also come in for annual sessions to “keep the muscles active” for maintenance purposes.
“Some clients notice immediate benefits, such as improved circulation, relaxation, and reduced pain, but long-term regeneration occurs with consistent treatments over time,” says Baestaens.

My Experience with REYUM
The process is simple. Clients are required to sip an electrolyte mixture upon arrival to assist with the conductivity from the electrode that is adhered to the back of your neck.
Whether it’s your scalp or face, the wand is what creates the electric current that activates either hair follicles or face muscles with gentle, soft strokes. The former is virtually void of any sensation while the latter will activate muscle spasms that may take you by surprise, but aren’t painful.
The only uncomfortable sensation is the constant taste of metal in the mouth but it’s something you grow accustomed to after only a few minutes. After multiple passes, either on sections of the scalp or areas of the face (I opted for under eye and the jawline/neck area), you then relax under a red light to maximize results.
My REYU Results
While the outcome of my face is pending, it certainly always feels tighter after each treatment.
The effects of hair, however, have been almost immediate and beyond my expectations. Areas of recession and thinning, such as the crown and temples, have not only grown back thicker and healthier but new baby hairs have begun to form, which will only add to the volume with time. I supplement the treatment with Finasteride, rosemary oil, and REYU’s Hair Boost but can attribute a lot of the regrowth success to REYU’s advanced technology. It’s also much less expensive than booking a flight overseas to Istanbul for a comprehensive transplant (and even those don’t come with a lifelong guarantee).

It may also be the alternative you need if you’re tired of spending the time and money on Botox and filler upkeep.
